It was just as it was described. It was just a little bit smaller so it didn’t connect like l wanted it to so I have to hold it down to make contact with the blades.

I love the 32 oz container. Easier to store, use, and clean. It is more than large enough for a big smoothie to go in the morning and it doesn't take up a giant amount of space. As a matter of fact, it fits on the base under the wall cabinets. I packed the big one away in the box. I wish the unit came with this size originally...it is far more practical. I bet a few folks would go to the trouble of buying the large size one, but I imagine most would do just fine with this size if it came that way. I find the taller container cumbersome and harder to clean, scrape and so on. Highly recommend this size. Easier all around. It is a little expensive for what it is, but the convenience is worth it.

Admittedly, I'm a Vitamix junkie. I own all the containers. And the 32 oz wet container is my favorite. It's my go-to container for small batches of ice cream, smoothies, salad dressing, chutney, you name it. I recommend buying the mini-tamper; not sure why it is not included, but it really helps. I disagree strongly with the reviewer who said it won't blend thick items. It's either user error or a problem with her base unit, because this container is awesome. One has to use common sense when blending; don't stuff a container completely full of frozen ingredients, or more than 1/2 full of thick and heavy ingredients like garbanzo beans for hummus. You will love this container!

I received my refurbished vitamix with standard 64 oz container as a gift 2 years ago. I struggled because in our household of two, I am just the one vegan and while the vitamix is an essential tool to achieve the right consistency for nut based cheeses and creams, the amount needed for just one person can't really be done in such a large container. I finally gave in and bought the smaller container, which is absolutely perfect. I actually enjoy it and use it a lot more now. Frankly, I wish I'd bought it right away, but ideally, vitamix should give customers a choice of containers at the time of purchase, rather than requiring us to buy additional containers.

I stopped using my Vitamix for a couple of years because the 64oz container that came with it was simply too big. I cook for 2 mostly and recently having changed my diet to vegan I know cook mostly for me. I tried the personal Vitamix blender (S30) but found it too small and not powerful enough. So I returned it a got this small container. Perfect size and I benefit from my Vitamix's powerful motor. I highly recommend this small container if you are cooking for one or two and I also recommend the dry container. These pay for themselves in no time.

I have had my Vitamix for 15 years and sometimes the original container is just too big so I got this smaller one. It is much more convenient for my uses. And now the whole unit fits on my counter top! It is a perfect size for a power smoothie or my homemade single serving of natural ice cream using 1/4 cup milk, one already sliced and frozen banana and some cinnamon. Blend and you have soft serve sugar free ice cream. you can also add walnuts and/or coconut to make it like a blizzard. Works with any frozen fruit. Then I eat it right from the container with a long handled spoon.

I have had my Vitamix for 6 years now. I loved every single thing about it EXCEPT the height of the container. Now that the kids are grown and it's just the two of us, I was looking for a different option to still use my old Vitamix, but with a smaller container that would hopefully fit under my cabinets. This fits the bill perfectly. I love the size (and height) of the new container. It's perfect for smoothies, and best of all, I can keep my machine out all the time now!

I bought my Vitamix 32-ounce container about 3 months ago and have been using it regularly since it arrived. The reason I bought it was that the original container that comes alongwith the blender is too large (I believe its 64-ounce) for small quick blending, to serve 1 or 2 people. This 32-ounce container was a perfect fit and is the perfect size for 1-2 people. The material is similar to the larger container, very sturdy and solid.

I’ve been a vitamix owner for many years now & have always used the 64 oz container that it came with. I finally decided to purchase the smaller container and I’m sooo happy I did!! It’s perfect for making single smoothies. I find myself reaching for it more often than my 64 oz container! Great buy!
