I upgraded from the most basic blender I could find at a Department store and I’m so glad I did. This was almost four times as much money as the cheap blender I had but since I use it everyday it was worth it to me. I use this Ninja blender to make smoothies for my elderly mom who is struggling with a loss of appetite from chemo. I’m able to throw frozen fruit, almond butter and frozen yogurt in here and start it up. My old cheap blender would only let me add ingredients a bit at a time or it would choke. This Ninja is very powerful and handles anything I throw in it. Some complain that the pitcher is plastic but that was a selling point for me. Glass containers are too heavy for me to handle. I’m very pleased with this blender. You could pay more for a higher end blender but this will handle most jobs so why pay more

The Ninja blender is so much better than my ancient Kitchen Aid, largely because the blades are not just at the bottom but all the way through the pitcher. This makes blending frozen fruits and vegetables into smoothies so much better -- no chunks left unfound! It's strong and powerful, just as it's name suggests!

SO happy with my new blender. I broke my old blender making protein shakes every day, and I always had to open it up and knock the ice around halfway through the mixing process. This blender is NO joke. No more chunky surprises in your smoothie, no more ice that didn’t get crushed up. Please note that it is very, very loud, and quite large. By far the most intimidating kitchen appliance I have ever owned.

Nice upgrade! I needed a larger blender to handle many cups of frozen veggies and fruit. The blades on this thing are awesome. I only use the low setting and can get a nice creamy smoothie within 30 seconds. I may never need the medium or high settings cause low gets it done!

This Ninja blender is great. I’m so surprised at its ability to really blend frozen fruits and veggies into a smoothie! It’s easy to clean and quite durable too. Definitely recommend!
